Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of Bēquebēque ("the app", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

1. What Bēquebēque is

Bēquebēque is a personal budgeting tool that helps you track expenses, manage savings, and visualize your money. It is designed for personal, non-commercial use. It is not a bank, financial institution, or licensed financial advisor. Nothing in the app constitutes financial advice.

2. Your account

• You need a Google account to use Bēquebēque.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account.
• One account per person. You may not share your account with others.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the app.

3. Your data

You own your data. The financial information you enter into Bēquebēque — your buckets, transactions, funds figures, and notes — belongs to you. We do not claim any rights to it.

You can export your data as an Excel file at any time from Settings, and you can permanently delete all of it from Settings → Danger Zone → Delete all data.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any illegal purpose.
• Attempt to access another user's data.
• Scrape, reverse engineer, or otherwise attempt to extract the app's underlying systems.
• Use automated tools to create accounts or submit data at scale.
• Attempt to disrupt or overload the app's infrastructure.

5. Early access

Bēquebēque is currently in early access. This means:

• Features may change, be added, or be removed without notice.
• The app may experience downtime or bugs.
• Data migration may be required during major updates — we will do our best to preserve your data.

We appreciate your patience and feedback as we build.

6. No warranties

Bēquebēque is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be available at all times, error-free, or perfectly accurate. Use it as a helpful tool, not as a source of financial truth for critical decisions.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bēquebēque and Kyle Garcia shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app — including but not limited to data loss, financial decisions made based on app data, or service interruptions.

8. Termination

You can stop using Bēquebēque at any time. You can delete your account and all associated data from Settings → Danger Zone.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abuse, or otherwise harm the service or other users.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the date at the top. Continued use of the app after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms. We won't make changes that significantly reduce your rights without making reasonable efforts to notify you.
