FixedChanging the allotted amount on a bucket that doesn't repeat every month wouldn't stick. You'd type the new amount, save, and the card would go straight back to the old one. The amount was saving — the app was keeping a second, dated copy of the original so that past months would still show what you'd budgeted at the time, and that older copy was winning. Buckets that repeat were never affected, because those ask you which months to change. If one of yours is still showing the wrong amount, open it, type the amount again and save — it'll hold this time
FixedScrolling over an amount box changed the amount. Anywhere you type a figure — a bucket's allotted amount, an entry's amount, your salary — the box behaved like a dial, so scrolling down a form quietly counted the number up or down as you passed it. Worse, the little up and down arrows are hidden throughout the app, so there was nothing to suggest it could do that. Scrolling now scrolls, and the number stays where you put it

FixedA month that hadn't started yet always looked like you'd overspent it. Unallotted Funds counted the money you'd planned to pay out — a loan payment, a savings deposit, a bucket's allotment — but ignored the money you'd planned to come in, because you hadn't ticked it as received. In a month that hasn't begun, nothing is ticked as received, so the income was never counted and the number was always red. Look ahead now and any income you've already put in the month counts too. This month and past months are unchanged, because there "not yet received" genuinely means something
NewYou can pin a chat in Ask Bekbek. Bekbek keeps your last 10 conversations and drops the oldest to make room — pin one and it stays put, and something else goes instead. Pinned chats sit at the top with a pin beside the title. You can pin up to 9, so there's always a slot free for a new conversation. Pinning protects a chat from being dropped, not from you: you can still delete it whenever you like
NewYou can save an Ask Bekbek conversation as a PDF. It's in the ⋯ menu next to any chat, and you get the whole conversation — headings, tables and all — as a proper document you can keep or send on
FixedBekbek gave different answers to the same question. Ask it about a month ahead, then ask it to explain itself, and the amount you had free would change — one answer said ₱3,209, the next ₱1,986, then it claimed you had no income at all. It was being handed your planned spending in two overlapping lists and left to work out for itself which entries were in both, and it guessed differently every time. It now gets one figure with the sum already done, and is told plainly not to subtract anything twice
FixedIncome you'd logged into a future month was being left out of that month entirely. If you'd put next month's pay in already, the projection didn't count it unless it repeated every month
FixedBekbek's headings came out as rows of # characters. When it structures a longer answer it writes proper headings, and they were being printed as typed instead of shown as headings
FixedOn a phone, tapping a notification opened what it was about but left the notification list sitting on top of it. The list now steps out of the way
ImprovedSwiping is one thing across the whole app now. Swipe left to delete, wherever you are — notifications and your Bekbek chats. Swipe right to tick a due date as paid, or to pin a chat. A shape grows out of the edge as you pull, from a dot into a rounded square the height of the card, and its label appears once there's room for it. Nothing is deleted on the swipe itself: it stays open and waits for you to tap it, so a fast flick can't throw something away
ImprovedYour Bekbek chat history has a ⋯ menu on the phone too. Swiping is quicker once you know it's there, but there's no way to discover it — the menu holds all three, pin, save as PDF and delete
ImprovedNothing you'll see unless you use a keyboard: the app never said what a focused button should look like, so every browser drew its own. There's one blue outline now, and it only appears when you're tabbing rather than clicking

FixedAsk Bekbek was charging you twice for the same purchase. Ask it whether you can afford another ₱800 of groceries and it would take that ₱800 off what's left in your groceries bucket and off your unallotted funds — but your unallotted funds already treats that bucket's whole allotment as spoken for, so the money came off twice and the answer came back gloomier than the truth. Bekbek is now handed what's actually left in every bucket, the same figures printed on your bucket cards, and answers from those. Only the part of a purchase that doesn't fit inside the bucket counts as new money
NewEvery bucket has a Details card. Open the ⋯ menu on a bucket — on your dashboard, or inside the bucket itself — and choose Details to find everything about it in one place: what type it is, when you made it, what it's allotted, whether carry-over is on and how much came in, and the start and end months if it repeats. Underneath, the all-time figures: how many entries it has ever held, what they come to, and the date of the first one. It's a reference card, so nothing on it can be changed — Edit is still one step away in the same menu
FixedIf you had set a different allotted amount for a particular month, Bekbek answered using today's amount instead of that month's

ImprovedSavings buckets no longer have a Floor and a Ceiling, and we're sorry if you'd set one — they're gone from the form and from your buckets. They were meant to be a monthly minimum and a monthly cap, but the app never really gave them back to you: they'd already been taken off bucket cards a while ago, a single line on Statistics was the only place either was ever read out, and nobody had built a widget for one. A savings bucket now measures against one thing, its Goal, which is the number the bar was using anyway. Nothing has been thrown away — your floors and ceilings are still stored, and both are coming back properly, with somewhere to actually see them, as part of a set of advanced bucket options later on
ImprovedAdd Entry and Add Bucket are one height now, whatever you've got switched on. Turning on Recurring or a due date used to make the whole window grow and shrink under your finger, taking the Cancel and Save buttons with it. The title stays at the top, the buttons stay at the bottom where you can always reach them, and the form scrolls in between — with a soft shadow at the edge when there's more to see
ImprovedThe emoji and colour pickers open in the middle of the screen instead of hanging off the button you tapped. On a phone they always did; on a computer they could open inside a form that scrolls and get their bottom half cut off
NewOn a phone, the blue highlight in the bottom bar slides between the icons instead of blinking off one and on to the next. It rounds into a circle for the trip and settles back into shape exactly as it lands
FixedSetting a due date opened your phone or computer's own date picker rather than the app's. It was the last one left doing that

ImprovedAn expense bucket's allotment is now spent the moment you log something, whether or not you've ticked it off as paid. If you put a card purchase in and leave it unpaid until the statement arrives, that money now counts against the bucket straight away — before, "Total left" and the bar quietly ignored it and told you that you had money you'd already spent. Your buckets show what's unpaid on the left, the same way buckets without an allotment always have. Savings, loans and income are unchanged: money you haven't received isn't income, and a loan payment you haven't made hasn't reduced anything
NewThe menu on the left folds away. Click the tab on its edge and it shrinks to a column of icons, giving the page more room; click it again to bring the words back. It remembers which way you left it
NewA new first card on Statistics: Spending Pace. It fills like a glass with how much of this month's funds you've used, and marks how far through the month you actually are — so 70% means something different on the 6th than it does on the 26th. It's there to show you where you stand, not to tell you off
NewSpending by Bucket is now Top Bucket, and answers the question outright — which bucket took the most, and what share of everything that was. Open it for the full ranking, where hovering a column names it

It was deciding for itself which buckets counted, using a looser rule than the rest of the app. There's one rule now and both use it. Widen the range back and the old ones reappear, as they should
FixedA bucket could show up under two different type filters on Statistics at once — an income bucket with a savings floor appeared under both Income and Savings. Each bucket is sorted once now

Coming back to the app after switching your device to dark mode did make it look again — but it looked too early, before your phone had finished changing its mind, and got the old answer. It now asks again a few times over the second after you return, and reads it from the stylesheet rather than the one place iOS is known to leave stale
FixedDismissed notifications came back. The reminder nudge and the recurring-entries notice were still also appearing as a card at the bottom of the screen on a phone, so closing one left the other one up and it looked like it had returned. Those bottom cards are gone — a notification now arrives, waits in your notifications, and is finished with when you dismiss it there
FixedA dismissed reminder for a recurring entry came back a few minutes later. The entry is a placeholder until the app writes it down for real, and it was being treated as a different thing afterwards

It now checks every time you come back
FixedThe bar at the very top of your phone followed your device's theme instead of the one you picked in the app, so choosing Light on a dark phone gave you a white app under a near-black strip. True Black had no colour set for it at all
FixedChanging the theme in Settings and in the avatar menu didn't tell each other, so one of them kept showing the old choice until you reloaded
